My suppliers

To Jose, Matthew from Fiberglass Supply and Jennifer from AeroMarine Products:
Looking back I would definitely say that my progress wouldn’t be possible without my suppliers,
Fiberglass Supply (http://www.fiberglasssupply.com/) and AeroMarine products (http://www.aeromarineproducts.com/), the great source of fiberglass, foam, and epoxy resin.
If you guys read this post, let me say thank you for your business.
You really help me to get one step closer to my dream, to sail around the world on my boat with my family.

More panels

Another bunch of panels has been laminated in February (floors, saloon dashboard, kid's cabin roof, etc.). Up to date I have 17 7x4' panels ready to install. 11 more to go for upcoming season.

Working on forebeam support posts now. More foam is needed to fill the gaps between side panels and posts.

Starboard post dry-fitted.

Rudders. Work in progress.

Last weekend I cut both rudders on CNC machine. It took about 7 hours for 4 sides. Slow, but precise.

After final shaping

20x32" rudders

Bulkhead steeering case with flange welded in (BTW, I also cat this 1/4" flange on the same CNC machine).

First glassed rudder in vacume bag. I hope to do the second one tomorrow.

Rudder blanks

Foam blanks with leading and trailing edges out of cedar with shafts glued in.

The half-rudder mockup is being cut out of cheap foam with my home built CNC machine.
